The project “Driving Licence for Youth Employment” is developed under the field of intervention "D – Supporting youth employability and inclusion" of the Cidadania Ativa Programme, which supports projects that create or develop mechanisms and instruments which provide, the following: Training for employability, giving priority to young people in vulnerable situations, including the development of soft skills and the acquirement of skills for the work place; Entrepreneurship and job creation, giving priority to young people in vulnerable situations, including training and mentoring of young entrepreneurs; With the Driving License for Youth Employment we pretend to build a structured path of preparing young people for employment in accordance with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully steer their position on their trip for employment. The Driving Licence for Youth Employment, while an individual training title for young people in achieving their employability and their validation, this is the main objective of the project and the an instrument capable of promoting the results of employability according to the objectives targated by the Cidadania Ativa Programme.
